The Heart of Miss Bee, Inc., aims to ease the financial burden of arranging a funeral by providing financial assistance to women who need assistance purchasing a final outfit to bury their beloved mothers. We firmly believe that every woman should have the opportunity to honor her mother's memory with grace and dignity, regardless of her financial circumstances.
Our program recognizes the significance of the final farewell and understands the emotional impact it can have on individuals. We strive to make the process as compassionate and empathetic as possible, ensuring women feel supported and cared for during this difficult time.

HOW ARE HER FINAL BOW PROGRAM FUNDS ALLOCATED?
Our signature program, Her Final Bow, aims to relieve the financial strain of funeral arrangements.
We offer financial assistance to women to ensure they can afford a dignified outfit to honor their mothers.
Hence, we call the program Her Final Bow; we're helping women purchase an outfit to view and bury their mother in for the last time.
Every woman deserves to honor her mother's memory with grace, regardless of her financial situation.
We will partner with select funeral homes in communities serving underprivileged bereaved women, who will serve as the referring body to The Heart of Miss Bee, Inc. for financial assistance that will be distributed directly to the bereaved client.
All donations will be spent directly on the allocation of funds when eligible bereaved women who have lost their mothers or mother figures are referred to The Heart of Miss Bee, Inc. for financial assistance.
WHO ARE OUR FUNERAL HOME PARTNERS?
We aim to partner with several large reputable funeral homes in the DMV who service underserved communities with dignity and respect. Funeral Home partners who are selected every calendar year will be added to our website. HOW WILL YOU MEASURE PROGRAM EFFECTIVENESS?
There are several metrics we will use to determine the impact of our program, several are as follows:
1. Number of beneficiaries: Keeping track of the number of women who have received financial assistance through our program.
2. Satisfaction surveys: Conducting surveys with the beneficiaries to gather feedback on their experience with the program.
3. Financial impact: Tracking the financial impact of our program by analyzing the average amount of financial assistance provided per beneficiary.
4. Partnerships with funeral homes: Evaluating the effectiveness of our collaboration with funeral homes in disadvantaged communities, monitoring the number of funeral homes involved, the level of engagement, and feedback from funeral home representatives.
5. Long-term outcomes: Assessing the long-term outcomes of the program by tracking the women's ability to participate in the burial process and cope with their loss, monitoring if they were able to honor their mothers' memory through the assistance provided.

HER FINAL BOW PROGRAM FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE
WHO CAN APPLY?
The Heart of Miss Bee, Inc. only accepts requests for financial assistance from referring bodies such as our approved partner Funeral Homes and Funeral Directors.
FUNDING DECISION TIMELINES AND PAYMENT INFORMATION
Due to such requests' highly time-sensitive nature, decisions are rendered within 24-48 business hours, and financial assistance is generally disbursed electronically after that.
Referring bodies are responsible for ensuring the accuracy and completeness of the online request form, especially any information that facilitates the electronic payment to the recipient.
Submission of an online request doesn't constitute approval. Approvals are communicated in writing to the referring body. The Heart of Miss Bee, Inc., has the sole discretion to determine the funding of Her Final Bow financial assistance requests.
All financial assistance is dispersed digitally via PayPal and sent directly to the recipient.
ALL FUNDING DECISIONS ARE FINAL.
ELIGIBILITY
Recipients must be women who have expressed a need for financial support.
Recipients must be verified DMV residents whose mothers or mother figures are recently deceased. We define "mother figures" as individuals who provide an emotional substitute for one's mother, especially one who fulfills parental functions such as protection, authority, support, etc.
A referring body must affirm that the decedent will have a viewing/funeral.
The referring body must request financial assistance online via The Heart of Miss Bee's website. (no phone calls or texts will be accepted)
The recipient must be able to receive payment from PayPal.
The recipient must agree to complete a satisfaction survey from The Heart of Miss Bee, Inc.
