Greenbelt Homes, Inc. Plants a Tree to Honor Beverly E. Carroll (Miss Bee)

On August 3, 2020, a year and a half after my mom’s transition and on the day of her 62nd birthday, I was invited to Greenbelt Homes, Inc., my mom’s final employer before her passing, to visit the Red Maple tree and staff members who planted the tree in her honor prominently in front of their office building.

I could not think of a better way to remember, honor, acknowledge and reflect on the memories of my mother, on her heavenly birthday.

This was such an expected surprise, however, I’m not surprised because my mother was such a light and the kind of person that people would warm up to, trust and confide in, and that lack of her presence was felt by all that cared about her.

I will never forger her co-workers who initiated this.
